Very good condition.
"On the revolutions of the celestial spheres " - the greatest scientific work of the Renaissance era written by a Pole, in which the author laid out the essence of the heliocentric theory. Copernicus' work appeared in print for the first time in Nuremberg in 1543. The presented item is a facsimile edition of the author's manuscript kept in the Jagiellonian Library. The facsimile faithfully reproduces the features of the original (preserved marginalia, ownership marks (including the ex-libris and signatures of the von Nostitzes - "Ex Bibliotheca Maioratus Familiae Nostitzianae 1774"), corner soiling, yellowing of pages, stains, ink blots, etc.). Printed on offset paper with a weight of 120 g and shades adapted to the shades of the four types of paper on which the astronomer wrote his work. Page dimensions faithful to the original.
