Szymon Jaxa-Konarski (1894 - 1981), Polish economist, herald and genealogist. Although he was engaged in heraldry and genealogy as an amateur, thanks to his strenuous work, he began to succeed in this field. His first work, published in print in 1936, "The Calvinist Nobility in Poland," was acclaimed by historians. In exile, further publications by Konarski appeared in Polish and French highly regarded in scholarly circles.
