Comprehensive monograph of the Polish cavalry unit, part of the 10th Armored Brigade and General Stanislaw Maczek's 1st Armored Division after its motorization, compiled from sources by the regiment's adjutant (he held this position in 1943-1945). On the facing pages, a map showing the formation's combat route (Kraśnik, Rzeszów, Lviv, Budapest, Zagreb, Trieste, Milan, Turin, Modena, Paris, Liverpool, Glasgow, London, Essen, Hannover). Rich illustrative material on the plates, including the regimental banner, regimental commanders, scenes from the life of the regiment in the interwar period and during World War II.
