Album presenting the exceptional work of one of the Polish Parisians. Boznanska's painting remains a phenomenon distinct from the prevailing trends; it is associated with both impressionism, intimism and symbolism. Boznanska gained considerable popularity and recognition, as evidenced by numerous commissions, awards and being awarded the French Legion of Honor. Among the colorfully reproduced works in the album are portraits, which are the dominant theme of her work. The painter rendered the psychological characteristics of the figures with particular insight and precision. In addition to a selection of Boznanska's works, the album includes a calendar of the artist's life, richly illustrated with period photographs.
