On the front pasteboard, a handwritten dedication by Jadwiga Zamojska (1831-1923) to Natalia Kicka, née Bisping (1806-1888), a social and patriotic activist, pioneer of Polish archaeology and numismatics, as well as a diarist. "Hours", which was the subject of the gift, contains in the diary section of "Souvenirs de Famille" several historical entries in French, bearing the dates: 8 XII 1831, 19 V. 1844, 29 III 1845, 8 IV 1845 or 23 II. 1846 (the entries were probably made in the 2nd half of the 19th century). Antoni Sulkowski, Luisa Bisping and Teodor Mycielski are mentioned here. On a separate page, Natalia Kicka noted the death of her husband Ludwik Kicka of the Gozdawa coat of arms (1791-1831), a Polish general who died on May 26 at the Battle of Ostroleka during the November Uprising. Several pages damaged, traces of dampstaining and soiling, several pages loose, front cover loose, spine separates from block.
