The History of a Jewish Kingdom in Europe, is a joint publication of the distinguished Jerusalem-based Bialik Institute and the Masada publishing house, located at the time in Tel Aviv at 33 Lilienblum Street. The book first hit the bookstores in the first quarter of 1943, a time when the British, on behalf of the League of Nations, held mandate authority in what was then Palestine, the annihilation of the Jewish people was underway in Europe, and the armored columns of the German Afrika Korps were only a few hundred kilometers from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv."
