[KAZAKHSTAN]. Post card with correspondence, sent from Kazakhstan to Lviv, dated. 3 XI 1940.
Contents of letter in Polish, address page in Russian and Polish. The sender of the letter is Michalina Rysitskaya, deported from the areas occupied by the Red Army (from Lviv?) to Kazakhstan, near the town of Kokpekty in the Semipalatinsk region. She gives as her address farm No. 2 in the sovkhoz "Chigank" (?). In the letter he writes, among other things: "With us winter has begun, and they say that the frosts reach 50° [...]. The worst thing is that we have no footwear nor warm clothing, and even what we had, although not much, I was forced to sell, because I had and still have no money. The cost of living here is crazy [...], so we can't afford bread [...]. I have no news about my son." No stamp, scuffs, vertical fold of sheet, trace of dampness.
