Very good condition. Catalog includes 10 color reproductions on pastedowns and information about the artist. Catalog of the Roman exhibition of M. Rothko (1903-1970) - one of the most original artists of American Abstract Expressionism. He developed his own recognizable style, creating paintings composed of irregular, colorful rectangles. In 1963 he signed a contract with the Marlborough Gallery to sell his works outside the US. During the run of the exhibition whose catalog we present here, Rothko died by suicide in his New York apartment.
