The extensive item presented here consists of excerpts from the diaries of young ladies. The oldest date back to the end of the 18th century, while the youngest date back to the beginning of the 20th century. Full of sincerity in describing the surrounding world and emotions, the girls' notes take the reader back in time, to a different mentality and often sincerely entertain. Among the authors of the fragments are min. Zofia née Czartoryska, daughter of Fredro, Klementyna née Tańscy Hoffmanowa, Maria Dąbrowska or Maria Curie-Skłodowska.
