Karol Sliwka is one of the most respected Polish designers and creator of more than 400 signs. Among the most recognizable are: PKO Bank Polski, the National Library or the School and Pedagogical Publishers. The album was created as a catalog of the exhibition "Karol Sliwka. Polish Projects Polish Designers" (Historical Event of the Year 2018), and includes a silhouette of the master, texts by Marcin Wicha, Patryk Hardziej, Agnieszka Drączkowska, Sean Wolcott, Jens Müller and Paweł Śliwka, as well as dozens of photos of signs that can still be found in public space today.
