The author has compiled a historical book collection including old books, as well as manuscripts, archives, collections of engravings or paintings by Piotr Moszyński. She undertook an assessment of the importance of the library in the context of Romantic culture and the creation of a model of the aristocratic library. She stressed the importance of the library in shaping national consciousness and recalling the past successes and failures of a generation of Poles.
