1st edition.

Piece clean in good condition. Full brown leather. Binding bound with five-panel spine. Decorative embossing on spine fields and covers and edges. Titling embossed in gold on leather signboard. Coverlets and page edges hand-marbled. Binding made by hand in the bindery of the Polish Antiquarian.

Jerzy Zulawski coat of arms Szeliga (1874 - 1915) - Polish philosopher, writer, poet, representative of decadentism and catastrophism.
Collection of poems "From the House of Slavery", contains, among other things, a cycle of 9 sonnets entitled. "Warsaw." Together with the author we get to know the Royal Baths, Krakowskie Przedmieście, wander to the monument of Sigismund III, and then through the streets of the Old Town across the Vistula River, reach Praga and remember the "hordes of Suvorov".
