Janosch, owner of Horst Eckert (born March 11, 1931 in Zabrze) - Upper Silesian-born German-language writer, author of children's literature. Janosch is the author of more than 300 books for children. The book that gave rise to a whole series of items for children was Ah, how wonderful is Panama (German: Oh, wie schön ist Panama). The protagonists of the series are Teddy Bear and Tigger. The series includes more than 120 items (according to other sources, 160), which have been translated into more than 30 languages, and a number of them have also been published in Polish. The author is a gifted graphic designer, illustrating his stories himself, and the images he has created have been used in the creation of animated films and to decorate children's clothes.
