Notes: - Jan Brzoza actually Jozef Worobiec (12.12.1900 Lviv - 27.11.1971 Ostrów powiat myszkowski (district of Myszków)) writer. Associated with the communist movement since 1921. He made his debut as a poet in 1924, after graduating from high school in 1929 he continued to work at various jobs periodically being unemployed. In 1933 he made his debut as a prose writer with the award-winning "Diary of an Unemployed Man." He worked as a clerk and writer in Lviv. He repatriated in 1945 and became associated with Upper Silesia, where he worked in newspaper editorials, radio and theaters. Author of numerous novels and dramas; see WPPiBL vol. 1 pp. 320-322

Condition:

Piece uncut, binding quite badly damaged, front cover loose with loss of lower corner, slightly stained, foreign dedication on pre-title page, block clean and without flaws, binding indicated. Item in at least good condition

• very nice: almost perfect condition (+5), very slight defects, almost like new (unused)
• nice: very good condition (5), very slight, basically insignificant defects
• quite nice: condition - very good (-5), insignificant, insignificant defects

• at least good: condition at least good (+4), not very significant defects

• less than good: condition -good (-4), significant defects
• more than sufficient: condition between good and sufficient (3/4), very significant defects
• at least sufficient: condition at least sufficient (+3), quite poor condition, extremely significant defects, almost destructive
• Sufficient: sufficient condition (3), poor condition, major defects in the card, basically destruct
