The manuscript does not have a title, a later photocopy of the page with the text was attached to it: "Instrukcya wojskowa o składzie, szyku, podziale kompanii, szkoły żołnierza, zwroty ciała [...] i o obowiązkach - sporządzona w Sztabie Naczelnika AD 1863" (Military Instruction on Composition, Array, Division of Companies, School of the Soldier, Returns of the Body [...] and Duties - drawn up in the Chief's Staff AD 1863), below a tripartite insurgent coat of arms.
