A work dedicated to the commemoration of Poles killed in the battles with Ukrainians for Lviv in 1918-1919 (the Polish-Ukrainian battles for Lviv lasted from November 1, 1918 to May 22, 1919; they began with the capture of many public buildings in Lviv by Austro-Hungarian soldiers of Ukrainian nationality, and ended with the liquidation of the Ukrainian encirclement of the city). Foreword and foreword by Czesław Mączyński. The work is richly illustrated with photographs, numerous portraits of the fallen; folding Plan of the cemetery of the Defenders of Lviv.
