Krakow 1998/ Starmach Gallery/ first edition/ publisher's binding, soft with wings/ 21,5x25cm/ p.341/ black and white illustrations and photos in the text/ good condition, spine gently shifted, pages slightly yellowed, otherwise nice condition.

The First Exhibition of Modern Art of 1948 in Cracow is considered the most important event in art at that time. It was done on a grand scale by the circle associated with Tadeusz Kantor and Mieczysław Porębski.

The publication is accompanied by facsimiles in the form of a card of the exhibiting artists and a catalog containing a selection of works from the exhibition ( works by Tadeusz Kantor, Alfred Lenica, Jerzy Nowosielski, Jerzy Skarżyński, Andrzej Wróblewski, Jonasz Stern, among others)
