A collection of issues of "Home Friend" from 1864, published in Galicia during the end of the January Uprising. The motto of the newspaper was the sentence "To know other people's things, curiosity is - and one's own need" Very interesting and varied subject matter (social, moral, political, household topics, world news -). In the text numerous illustrations.
This collection contains issues 1-104 (January-December 1864). Each issue has 4 pages, total 416 pages . General state of preservation good- (crayon entries in a few places, a trace of perforation on a few dozen pages - see photo). Large format - 35 x 25cm, hard cover bookbinding.
