Condition b. good. Juliusz Kossak (1824 - 1899) - Polish painter, draftsman and illustrator. He specialized in historical and battle paintings, horses were a favorite subject of his paintings. He painted small-format works mainly in watercolor technique. He was one of the initiators of the establishment of the National Museum in Cracow. Father of Wojciech Kossak. Wojciech Kossak (1856 - 1942) - Polish painter, representative of the historical and battle painting trend. Author of many paintings depicting events from the Napoleonic wars and the November Uprising, genre scenes, portraits and horses. Together with Jan Styka, he co-authored Battle of Racławice. Jerzy Kossak (1886 - 1955) - Polish painter, representative of realism.
