Pornography is a great work. No reading or interpretation is capable of exhausting its meanings; it is only a form of approximation, a form of bringing out those meanings, depictions, symbols that seem the most momentous. For a great work of art surpasses what the reader and interpreter are able to say about it; if it did not, it would not be a great work. And Gombrowicz's Pornography is undoubtedly one.
