Good condition, some rubbing of binding, own stamp. Faust - Goethe's Faust in two parts, published in its entirety only after the author's death in 1833. The theme of the work is God's wager with Mephistopheles for the soul of the eponymous Doctor Faustus. Faust is to give it to the devil when he tastes the fullness of happiness and utters the words: last a moment, you are beautiful.
