Charles Gobinet (1613-1690), author of a manual of formative education common throughout Europe. Contains, among other things, A Caution on Bad Books, Four Kinds of Bad Company, On the Sad Consequences of the Sin of Unchastity, On the Obstacles That Are Own to the Young Rich, On Sowing Delusions, On Lying, On Sobriety, On Games and Amusements, On Court Life, That the World is Wrong in All Its Judgments and Affairs, And That One Needs to Despise Earthly Things to Cling with the Heart to God.

A complete piece of a rare edition, in excellent state of preservation, in a traditional binding made by the Polish Antiquarian.
