Janina Gillowa published her first literary works in the 1920s under the pseudonym Junona.
She wrote librettos of operas and operettas, literary texts for oratorios, arias, songs, songs.
She translated texts of foreign songs, translated librettos, published poetry, stage works, and was also the author of rebuses, charades, puns, etc., printed in popular Warsaw magazines.
In the 1930s, her lyrics to operetta arias and film songs were recorded for albums in "Syrena Record" and "Odeon." After World War II, she worked at Polish Radio, where she gained recognition as an author of radio plays for children.
