The first detailed bibliography of printed matter relating to the January Uprising contains over 4100 items and extensive, comprehensive indexes of names and items. The author (1889-1949) was an officer in the Polish Army (general since 1932), and commanded the 7th Infantry Division in the 1939 defensive war.
