The two-volume Guide to the Eastern Beskids, published by "Ksiaznica "Atlas" in three parts, stands out prominently among other publications of its kind: it is considered the best and most comprehensive guide to the Beskids from Bieszczady to Czarnohora. The author of the guide is Henryk Gąsiorowski (1878-1947) - a sightseer, cartographer, artist photographer, activist of the Polish Tatra Society and major of the Polish Army. The guide contains valuable material of historical and sightseeing details not included in other publications and is still an indispensable source of information for lovers of the Eastern Carpathians. The second volume includes, among others, the area of the Prut Valley, the main ridge of the Czarnohora, the Hutsul region, the Sopovka, Luchka, Pistinka, Rybnica and Cheremosh valleys, sketches of the panorama from Siniak, from Kostrzyca, and from Marichička, and a schematic map of the Czarnohora range, a diagram of the marked accesses to the peaks along the Prut valley, and the Eastern Beskids - a scheme of automobile transportation. taking into account forest railroads and marked hiking trails.
