Heights: 2 volumes - 19 cm / 1 volume - 18 cm. Binding: decorative half leather in red, contemporary. Spine divided into four fields, three of which have gilt titling, volume numbering and date and place of publication. Decorative marbled paper on the facings. Leather corners. All in decorative cardboard case, also covered with marbled paper. In volumes 1-2 trimmed only the upper page edges, while in volume 3 the pages are trimmed on each side (marbled page edges). Ex-libris of Lech Kokociński.
In most volumes original covers of brochures preserved.
In volume I supplemented upper margins of pages (up to p. 72, with slight damage to first line of text; and later from p. 361, without damage to text). In volume II, additions to the corners of the booklet covers. Minor stains in places. A few minor losses of margins or corners of pages in vol. 2. A few pages rearranged by introl. Compared to the BN pieces, volume I lacks 4 p. of additional prospectus announcing the publication. In vol. 3 mild foxing and browning of pages in places. Loss of the margin of one of the pages. Overall magazines preserved in +good condition.

As the publisher wrote: "This periodical, devoted exclusively to Domestic Farming, will include everything that can be applied to the benefit of the country and our land from the best agricultural and technical writings and the practical experience of farmers."
The publication was printed over the years 1835-1837 at Peter Piller (1801-1874) in Lviv. The present collection contains the full 2 annuals of the journal (in 3 volumes), only the last, fourth volume (from 1837) is missing for completeness.
"Ziemianin" contains articles on the following subjects: households, manor management; agriculture; agronomy; fertilizers; tillage; sowing; cattle breeding; veterinary medicine; horticulture; forestry; about trees; beekeeping; pond-keeping (about establishing ponds and ponds); construction; technology (household management); handicrafts and crafts; household medicines; news for the cellarman.

In addition, the proficient dissertation "Polish Agricultural and Technological Writing from 1549 to 1835" by Julian Aleksander Kaminski is a rare print and one of the first attempts at specialized bibliography (as A. Matczuk: "It is one of the earliest self-published Polish field bibliographies").
