Published since 1982, "Factory" was the direct ancestor of "Tango." It was a publication that was a kind of book/catalog containing artistic initiatives. It was created to summarize Polish participation in the international event Construction in Process, after which it was decided to publish a handmade magazine. "Factory" was assembled at the Attic on the initiative of Marek Janiak, who invited many people from the Lodz Film School to work on it.
