(Estr. does not note). Volume I of the European periodical, containing all sorts of useful state, judicial, police and military issues. Part devoted to the Polish State, including the election of the King, letters from John III Sobieski to the King of England, General von Wallenstein's report on his audience at the Polish court, etc. "Europäische Staats-Cantzley" - an important and respected legal and political periodical, was published from 1697 to 1716; in later years it changed its name to "Neue europaische Staatscantzley" (1761-1782) and "Teutsche staatskantzlei" (1783-1803). The places of publication of this periodical varied: Leipzig, Frankfurt am Main, Nuremberg. The first, long-time publisher was Christian Leonhard Leucht (1645-1716), appearing under the pseudonym Antonius Faber. Page edges stained. Abrasions of the binding, some discoloration of the pages, otherwise good condition. Rare. 9505/30
