The engravings on the plates depict architectural elements and details, buildings, historical memorabilia, plans and views of Krakow from the 15th century panorama of Krakow from Schedel's Chronicle and the archaeological plan of the city starting from. A. Essenwein (1831-1892), architect, art historian and director of the National Museum of Art, was a prominent researcher of medieval Krakow art, and first cited descriptions of Krakow provided in Schedel's Chronicle of 1493.Contemporary binding.
