Few soiling of the case, few tears.
Warsaw ghetto is not present. We may be able to see crumbs of its walls or fragments of street cobblestones, but in its essence this part of the city, Warsaw's enclosed district, is covered from us: earth, asphalt, foundations of new houses and oblivion. The only area where the residents of the ghetto can still be found, along with their houses and streets, their lives, suffering and death, is in our memory.
The guide takes a tour of a city that does not exist. It is made up of many individual records, testimonies and documents. Based on them, the authors reconstruct the topography of the ghetto, the realities of the time and the atmosphere of those places and days.
