One of the many editions of the famous treatise by the famous German theologian J. Eck (1486-1543), first published in 1525. It was directed against Melanchthon and Zwingli, becoming in time one of the most important publications of the European Counter-Reformation. The piece has a Polish provenance entry from the period, mentioning the name "Krzemienieski" and the town of Skole.
