Józef Drzewiecki (1772-1852) - member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in 1792, colonel during the Kosciuszko insurrection, promoted to vice-brigadier, conspirator, soldier of the Legions and the Danube Legion, from 1817 marshal of the nobility of the Krzemieniec district. Father of Karol and grandfather of Stefan Drzewiecki - pioneer of submarine navigation. Memoirist and speaker.
