DERMEK Aurel, PILAT Albert - Getting to know mushrooms

The general part of the book contains basic data on morphology, anatomy and physiology of fungi, and takes into account the aspect of species conservation and contemporary data on the use of macrofungi in biotechnological processes.

The detailed part presents descriptions of about 280 species, generally common in Poland, supplemented by drawings of spores. At the end there are more than 130 color illustration plates, which consist of reproductions of watercolors and diapositives taken against environmental backgrounds.
