The book includes a dedication to Antoni Cierplikowski, the legendary "Antoine de Paris," the most famous hairdresser of the art deco era and style dictator of the interwar years. The full dedication reads: "To the great Antoine / master of feminine beauty / fantastic artist in his craft / Zofia Stryjeńska / Warsz.[awa] 8 I 1931".

The mentioned dedication is cited in two of the most famous biographies of A. Cierplikowski (Orzeszyna M., Antoine de Paris. Polish genius of world hairdressing, Poznań 2019, p.203) and Z. Stryjeńska (Kuźniak A., Stryjeńska. Diabli nadali, Krakow 2021, pp.216-217)

As Angelika Kuźniak mentions in her biography of the artist: "By 1933 at Mazowiecka Street at number 12 (recall: Zocha lived at number ten) his salon was run by: "King of hairdressers and hairdresser of kings" Antoni Cierplikowski. He combed Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Isadora Duncan, Elizabeth II's sister Princess Margaret, among others. In Warsaw, a signboard with the inscription "Antoine de Paris" could be seen from afar. And Zocha used to go there. She gave him her monograph with a dedication." [Lit. Kuźniak A., Stryjeńska: Diabli nadali, Krakow 2021 p. 216].
