Jan Baranowicz (born May 15, 1906 in Borzecin near Brzesko Krakowskie, died June 20, 1983 in Katowice) - poet, prose writer, author of epigrams, humorous sketches, satires, books for children and young people and radio programs.
Alojzy Stanislaw Majcher (1907-1943) graphic artist, painter. Studied painting and graphic design in Cracow. He received several commendations for his drawing, nude studies and printmaking. He studied in Vienna and Paris and returned to Poland via Italy after the outbreak of war. He was active in the Union of Armed Struggle. In 1943 he was arrested and executed by the Germans.
