Danziger Courier was published in 1882-1901, the editorial office was located at 126 Heilige-Geist-Gasse (now 25/27 St. Spirit St.) One of the co-editors was, among others, Paul Scheerbart

"PAUL KARL WILHELM SCHEERBART (8 I 1863 Danzig - 15 X 1915 Berlin), pseudonym Kuno Küfer, literary writer and illustrator. Son of carpenter Carl Eduard (1816-1873) and Catharina Friederika, née Hering (1818-1867). From 1869 he was raised by his stepmother Emilie Möller. He studied at the Danzig Gymnasium, and from 1885 deepened his knowledge of philosophy and art history in Leipzig and Halle. He worked as a journalist, including for Berlin's "Börsen-Courier" and "Berliner Tageblatt," specializing in art and architecture criticism. After inheriting a small inheritance, from 1887 he devoted himself exclusively to artistic creation. In 1890 he returned to Danzig for a few months and was part of the editorial board that published the "Danziger Courier." He lived in Berlin and in 1892 co-founded the publishing house Verlag Deutscher Phantasten.

He gained greater recognition with his novel Die große Revolution, ein Mondroman (1902). A radical futurist, he published novels mainly of a grotesque-fantastic nature: Der Aufgang zur Sonne. Hausmärchen (1903), Der Kaiser von Utopia. Ein Volksroman (1904), Münchhausen und Clarissa. Berliner Roman (1906), Das graue Tuch und zehn Prozent Weiss. Ein Damenroman (1914). These were accompanied by collections of plays and poetry: Revolutionäre Theater-Bibliothek (1904), Kater-Poesie (1909).

He was among the forerunners of Expressionism. With the ideas contained in Glasarchitektur (1914), he influenced the architects of the time. In 1900 in Berlin he married Anna Scherler, née Sommer (1858-1936), childless. He died of a stroke" (source Gedanopedia)
