Good condition. Unfaded fading of the protective case. A work entirely illustrated by Salvador Dali with erotic compositions made from illustrations taken from two subject textbooks published at the end of the 19th century and from the "Catalogue of the great exhibition of the works of industry of all nations" published in London in 1851. "These illustrations were transformed by Salvador Dali for almost thirty years; the first of these metamorphoses was carried out in 1942 in New York." In the text and on the plates more than thirty illustrations, including 4 with laminated engravings showing a reproduction of the original old drawing. Among the 10 plates, 3 contain laminated illustrations. An edition of 900 numbered pieces on Zerkall paper, this one 593.
