The Rzeczpospolita was one of the largest countries in Europe, in 1637 after the wars with Moscow it reached its largest area of about 990 thousand km². The population in the middle of the 17th century was 11 million, then years of wars and natural disasters caused a significant decline in population, but by 1771 the population had increased to 12-14 million.
The book is an excellent "textbook" to study for the beginning map collector.
