Brochure in Ukrainian, distributed to the population as a gesture of protest against the creation of a separate bishopric for the Lemkos. The Lemko community had a divided opinion on the subject - some, dissatisfied with the Ukrainianization policy of the Orthodox hierarchy, considered this step necessary, while others saw the whole matter as forced, unnecessary assimilation. Eventually , the Apostolic Administration of Lemkivshchyna was established and functioned from 1934 to 1947, reporting directly to the Holy See.
