Very good condition. Own stamp. T. Maczuga. Catalog of the graphic polonics of Stefano della Belli, an outstanding Italian painter and engraver of the Baroque era. In the artist's rich oeuvre, about 40 prints refer to Polish subjects. These include scenes documenting Jerzy Ossoliński's envoy to Rome in 1633 and Krzysztof Opalinski's envoy to Paris in 1645. These engravings, 35 of which are shown at the exhibition, are a valuable iconographic source for research into the details of the clothing, weapons and images of 17th century Polish nobility.
