Beautifully published collection of Polish Christmas carols illustrated by Zofia Stryjeńska. Each carol is accompanied by a color illustration on the pasteboard and a vignette depicting an angel playing a musical instrument. The title page features a small composition showing two altar boys operating a chantry. The text was folded and rebound with multicolor illustrations by Zofia Stryjeńska in an edition of 1200 numbered pieces on Van Gelder Zonen handmade paper at the "Rola" printing house in Warsaw.
