On the pre-title page the author's handwritten dedication from 1946 , condition of the book as for this period - very good. This is a drama in 3 acts taking place in 1944, staged in many theaters in postwar Poland as a so-called "partisan play". The author of the cover, Józef Mroszczak, belonged, together with Tadeusz Trepkowski, Henryk Tomaszewski and Jan Lenica, to the leading representatives of the "Polish school of poster art".
