J. Broszkiewicz (1922-1993) - Polish prose writer, playwright, essayist and publicist, and author of science fiction. His literary output was very diverse. He made his debut in 1945 in the weekly "Odrodzenie" with the short story "Monika." His book debut was a novel about the ghetto, "Expectation," for which he received the Krakow Land Prize. His next book was a novel about Frederic Chopin, "The Shape of Love," for which he received the Second Degree State Prize. [Wikipedia].
