The Nazi office described in the book, was among the most important organs of power in the Third Reich. It existed in 1939-1945 and was located in Cracow at 2 Pomorska St. The book presented here is a sketch of the events unfolding at 2 Pomorska St., today a place of national memory. A branch of the Historical Museum has been set up in part of the rooms of the former Gestapo cathouse. The book is enriched with numerous documents and black and white photographs.
