Banach 267. Missing 3 (?) plates (double-numbered fold-out plates), prefatory sheet, and pages 23/24 and 6 pages at end with "Apotheosis" and table of contents. Several plates rearranged. Cover heavily rubbed, paper stained and damp in places, margins of covers broch. margins of the booklet covers and some pages crumbled and partly glued by bookbinder (stamp on front pastedown: "J[an Teodor] Hewak Introligator Lwów"), amateur pencil drawings on the backs of two boards, also on the face of one of the boards, some pages with pencil notations - heavily used piece. Ex-library of Kazimierz Marian Ostrowski-Bełza (1880-1941 - lawyer, clerk in Galician Land Department, from 1923 director of the State Tobacco Monopoly). Stamped and signed by the author.Cover title: "Napoleon Bonaparte's Picturesque Chronicle with 90 engravings on steel". A second edition with 100 steel engravings was published three years later. Infrequent.
