A detailed study of Polish orders and decorations from the beginnings of their awarding, i.e. the 18th century, to the communist period. Each order is described in detail; illustrations of both obverse and reverse are included, as well as several of its classes (if any) and colors and variants of ribbons. The description includes information about the history of a given decoration, its exact technical parameters, the number of people decorated with it (and how many awards have been canceled), as well as listed famous people decorated with it. A very useful work for the collector.
