One of the monumental works of Polish historiography, and the main historical work of Joachim Bielski (d. 1599), poet and historian, son of the chronicler Marcin Bielski (Marcin is the author of part of the Chronicle). The offered collection contains the first five volumes, the narrative is brought to the reign of Przemysl II. At the end of the fourth volume, four lithographed plates with images of coats of arms. Incorrect volume numbering on the signboards, title page of volume two with the top half completed, missing pre-title pages in all volumes, yellowing of the paper in places.
