Augustin Barruel (1741-1820) - French Jesuit. As a former freemason, he accused Freemasonry and the Order of the Illuminati of instigating the French Revolution in one of his works (Mémoires pour servir à l'Histoire du Jacobinisme). In it, he called Adam Weishaupt "the devil incarnate." This theme later became popular in literature.
