[BITTNERÓWNA Barbara]. Handwritten dedication of Barbara Bittnerówna (as an 11-year-old) on photograph, dated. 26 X 1935 in Lviv.
Postcard-form photo, depicts Basia Bittnerówna sitting and a similarly dressed doll. The dedication is addressed to "the most beloved Stasiunia". Photograph glued on a cardboard backing (probably on a card removed from an album). Traces of glue on the back of the backing, photo in good condition.
B. Bittnerówna (1924-2018) - Lviv-born dancer, prima ballerina of the Poznań, Silesia, Warsaw and Kraków Operas. "As a child prodigy, she was already performing on the stage of the Grand Theater in Lviv at the age of 11" (Wikipedia).
