" Ernest Czerper, born in 1899, most likely began his cooperation with the "Polish Publishing House" already in 1922. At that time he made the cover of Jerzy Bandrowski's novel Lintang. Although the very shape of the eastern lamppost flowers may seem unusual, what is most amazing is the reflective set of colors adorning the face of Lintang: pink, yellow and blue, which immediately attracts the reader's eye. Similarly saturated colors, would soon become one of the hallmarks of"Wydawnictwo Polskie" publications.
